Mechanical Software Development Professional

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and unit test applications using SCRUM and Extreme Programming methodologies
• Guide team development efforts and coach others in best practices
• Lead and participate in peer-reviews of solution designs and code
• Migrate legacy applications to modern technologies and develop integrations
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, and architects to maintain business applications
• Develop high-level architecture and generate UML documentation
• Leverage engineering principles to realize design automation software solutions
• Normalize and provide relational data to support engineering knowledge capture
• Provide user support for deployed applications in production environments

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
• 10+ years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer
• 5+ years of experience in automated tool development (Java preferred)
• 2+ years of experience in SQL Server database design and development
• 2+ years of experience working with GIT
• Experience with Service Oriented Application (SOA) development
• Strong communication, presentation, and mentoring skills
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 5%

• Experience in engineering for Turbo Machinery
