Mechanical Shift Fitter

Responsibilities

• Isolate equipment and perform corrective maintenance on machines
• Inspect equipment to identify faults and take necessary repair actions
• Respond to and resolve machine breakdowns with a sense of urgency
• Continually seek opportunities to improve maintenance strategies to ensure machine safety, uptime, and performance

Requirements

• Qualified Industrial Fitter
• Demonstrated experience in the repair and maintenance of manufacturing equipment, including machine rebuilds and improvements
• Proficiency in machining using Lathe and Milling machines
• Experience in the alignment of motors, pumps, gearboxes, pulleys, belts, and chains
• Experience working with Hydraulic and Pneumatic circuits and components
