Mechanical Senior Cost Manager/Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities

• Act as the lead cost management interface for mechanical construction scopes, including major trade packages and critical systems
• Develop, manage, and present mechanical cost plans, estimates, and forecasts
• Estimate, review, and negotiate mechanical change orders and variations
• Review and reconcile mechanical contractor and subcontractor pricing
• Coordinate all sources of mechanical cost data, including subcontractor pricing and equipment costs
• Inform and influence engineering and design priorities based on mechanical cost impact
• Manage mechanical cost checks, valuations, contingency, and risk allowances
• Lead or support value engineering and cost optimization exercises
• Produce accurate monthly cost reports and funding data presentations
• Maintain robust mechanical cost benchmarking and audit trails

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline
• Minimum 7+ years of relevant experience in cost management or quantity surveying
• Strong focus on mechanical construction and mission-critical projects
• Professional working proficiency in Korean and English is required
• Deep trade and package-level expertise in mechanical systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for senior client-facing environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience within a construction consultancy environment
• RICS accreditation or progress toward chartership
