About the role
Responsibilities
- Test products for load capabilities, mechanical characteristics, polarity, voltage, amperage, and circuit continuity
- Troubleshoot analog and digital circuits to the component level
- Perform routine repair activities on avionics equipment, including surface mount and thru-hole solder repair
- Manage the full repair process including receiving, inspection, cleaning, tear-down, documentation, reassembly, and packaging
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area while complying with all Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) regulations
- Check work methods and results for conformance to established standards
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED) or vocational/technical education in a related discipline
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in electronics within a manufacturing or service environment
- U.S. Person status (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or protected individual)
Preferred Qualifications
- AAS degree in Electronics
- Prior military experience
- Proficiency with test equipment such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers
- Knowledge of electronic theory, including microprocessor-based products
- Ability to interpret schematics and technical drawings
- Intermediate computer skills for navigating software and documentation
