About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies for equipment reliability improvement in collaboration with Operations and Maintenance.
- Manage the plant’s Mechanical Integrity Reliability Program, including maintenance standards for lubrication, vibration, and precision maintenance.
- Utilize KPI reports and SAP historical logs to identify performance gaps and implement asset management strategies.
- Apply Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) to improve plant performance.
- Execute small capital projects and provide technical support to ensure optimal life cycle performance.
- Assist in developing training programs for craftsmen regarding machinery lubrication, alignment, and vibration analysis.
- Interface with equipment suppliers to enhance overall equipment reliability.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven team leadership skills.
- Experience in small project management (typically < $100k).
- Experience in project concept development and economic justification.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with chemical processing industry equipment.
- Experience with SAP PM.
- Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing certification/experience.
- Hands-on field machinery expertise.
