About the role
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the technical mechanical integration of specific train zones or subsystems
- Develop and design mechanical installation solutions
- Manage technical interfaces and resolve spatial/packaging conflicts
- Produce, update, and validate 2D drawings and 3D models
- Participate in design reviews and track technical modifications
- Support manufacturing and assembly teams in resolving field issues
- Apply railway standards, Alstom standards, and GD&T principles
- Manage technical documentation, including ECR/ECO, BOMs, and deliverables
- Coordinate with suppliers and technical partners as required
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for system manufacturability and maintainability
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent discipline
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical design and complex systems integration
- Expertise in mechanical integration, packaging, and technical interface management
- Mandatory proficiency in CATIA V5
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, assembly, and manufacturing constraints
- Functional French language skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the railway sector or rolling stock industry
- Experience with CATIA 3DEXPERIENCE
- Professional English proficiency for international collaboration
