Mechanical Railway Integration Engineer

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the technical mechanical integration of specific train zones or subsystems
• Develop and design mechanical installation solutions
• Manage technical interfaces and resolve spatial/packaging conflicts
• Produce, update, and validate 2D drawings and 3D models
• Participate in design reviews and track technical modifications
• Support manufacturing and assembly teams in resolving field issues
• Apply railway standards, Alstom standards, and GD&T principles
• Manage technical documentation, including ECR/ECO, BOMs, and deliverables
• Coordinate with suppliers and technical partners as required
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for system manufacturability and maintainability

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent discipline
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical design and complex systems integration
• Expertise in mechanical integration, packaging, and technical interface management
• Mandatory proficiency in CATIA V5
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, assembly, and manufacturing constraints
• Functional French language skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the railway sector or rolling stock industry
• Experience with CATIA 3DEXPERIENCE
• Professional English proficiency for international collaboration
