Mechanical Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities

• Execute the implementation of Management/Construction Information Systems for managing construction quantities, planning, and progress recording.
• Update project bill of quantities and project management databases with actual data.
• Supply and verify quantitative data for the preparation of extra works, dayworks, and change work orders.
• Verify data consistency against company procedures, project agreements, and subcontracts.
• Assist the Quantity Manager with quantity management reports and construction cost estimates.
• Monitor daily manhours and equipment usage by site subcontractors or direct hiring activities.
• Support the technical-administrative settling of claims presented by subcontractors or clients.
• Coordinate Spooling, Welding, and Material Traceability Systems.

Requirements

• 10+ years of proven experience as a Mechanical Quantity Surveyor.
• Extensive experience with piping projects.
• Technical expertise in piping classes and material families.
• Expertise in weld mapping and traceability.
• Proficiency in Office 365, with advanced Excel skills.
