Mechanical QC Inspector

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of quality control procedures for mechanical works
• Review project technical specifications, drawings, and BOQ to identify quality and inspection requirements
• Participate in site receiving inspections of mechanical materials and equipment to verify compliance
• Perform fit-up inspections and final dimensional verification prior to installation and welding
• Prepare, file, and maintain inspection reports, test records, and quality documentation
• Witness and review work performed by third-party testing, inspection, and NDT companies
• Identify defective materials or incomplete work and manage punch list items for corrective action
• Ensure all measuring and testing instruments are properly calibrated and functional

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry
• Hands-on experience in the inspection of piping, static equipment, and rotating equipment
• Experience with valves and associated mechanical systems
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and report writing skills
