About the role

Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain the Contractor Quality Control (CQC) program, ensuring compliance with contract specifications, approved drawings, and international standards.
  • Manage quality activities for HVAC systems, including AHUs, ductwork, ventilation, and Testing, Adjusting & Balancing (TAB).
  • Supervise Plumbing quality activities, including domestic water systems, drainage, pressure testing, and disinfection procedures.
  • Manage Fire Fighting quality activities, including fire water networks, pumps, sprinkler systems, and compliance with NFPA standards.
  • Review and monitor shop drawings, method statements, material submittals, test reports, and commissioning documentation.
  • Verify lifting operations, including lifting plans, crane selection, load capacities, and rigging activities.
  • Coordinate testing, commissioning, and handover activities, including functional performance tests and punch list clearance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 5–10 years of experience in construction projects, with at least 3–5 years specifically in QA/QC roles.
  • Proven hands-on experience in HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Fighting systems.
  • Strong knowledge of ASHRAE, NFPA, SMACNA, and ICC (IMC/IPC) standards.
  • Experience with EM 385-1-1, lifting safety standards, and USACE requirements.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken).
  • Strong analytical, coordination, and reporting skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CQM for Contractors (USACE) certification.
  • NEBB, ACG, or TAB certification.
  • Lifting Supervisor or Rigger certification.
  • PMP Certification.
  • Previous experience working on large-scale international construction projects.
