Mechanical Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all mechanical pre-construction activities including design constructability, procurement, and budget planning
• Act as the main point of contact for mechanical-related client concerns and communication
• Oversee installation of mechanical systems such as HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection
• Supervise mechanical subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure quality and safety compliance
• Maintain full-time on-site presence for inspections and construction supervision
• Lead commissioning of mechanical systems and manage final project closeout
• Track progress against project schedule and budget, addressing delays or cost overruns
• Conduct site safety audits and ensure health and safety compliance

Requirements

• University degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Several years of experience in mechanical project management on construction sites
• Experience working on data center construction projects
• Expertise in HVAC, cooling, fire suppression, and energy management systems
• Experience with Owner’s Representation and working directly with clients and contractors
• Proficient in construction management software and tools
• Fluent English and German language skills
• Availability for full-time on-site work in Frankfurt
