Responsibilities

• Perform technical pre-studies to evaluate project feasibility and cost
• Propose technical solutions in committees to validate the best proposals
• Design plans for mechanical parts and sub-assemblies using CAD
• Create mechanical assembly nomenclatures in the ERP
• Support mechanical assembly of prototypes and provide technical assistance to teams
• Consult suppliers for tool manufacturing outsourcing
• Participate in drafting test protocols and qualification plans
• Provide technical support during prototype validation tests and industrialization methods
• Draft technical product documentation
• Advise teams on product design and contribute to continuous improvement for tooling optimization
• Manage workload planning and track deliverables (Quality, Cost, Delay, OTD, RFT)
• Lead a transverse team of 4 people

Requirements

• Engineering degree or Master's degree (Bac+5) in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 3 years of experience
• Proficiency in CAD software (CATIA)
• Expertise in 3D modeling and technical drawing with functional dimensioning
• Ability to perform dynamic or static calculations
• Mastery of product development methodologies (APQP, AMDEC, Six Sigma)
• Professional experience with ERP and PLM (3D Experience)
• Knowledge of 3D printing methods
• Knowledge of the 2006/42/CE machine directive is a plus
