Mechanical Project Engineer

Responsibilities

• Manage teams, track progress, and arbitrate technical choices
• Model in CAD and design complex mechanical assemblies and specific components
• Perform analytical mechanical calculations
• Select and dimension components
• Coordinate feedback loops between calculation and design
• Ensure compliance with current standards, manufacturer prescriptions, and client standards
• Verify and establish industrialization documents including assembly plans, assembly drawings, detail drawings, and nomenclatures
• Verify and draft documentation such as specifications, assembly instructions, and test programs

Requirements

• Master's degree (Bac+5) in Mechanical Engineering or a generalist degree with a mechanical focus
• At least 5 years of experience in studies or project management within industrial engineering
• Proficiency in Catia V5, V6, or 3DEXPERIENCE
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Rigorous, methodical, and strong analytical skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the Nuclear sector
• Mastery of finite element analysis (FEA) software
• Knowledge of naval defense design: Hull & structure, piping, specific equipment, or outfitting
