Mechanical Project Engineer

Responsibilities

• Manage the full project lifecycle including design, development, prototyping, manufacturing, and implementation
• Verify and validate execution projects and assess necessary modifications
• Monitor project schedules and ensure deadline compliance
• Control contractor adherence to technical project specifications
• Approve work starts, control quality, and issue completion certificates for payment authorization
• Specify materials for civil component purchases
• Perform technical analysis of supplier proposals and designs
• Conduct technical field surveys
• Prepare product documentation and reports

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in industrial sector projects
• Experience in industrial projects (Food, Energy, Mining, Chemical, etc.)
• Experience with structural analysis (static and dynamic) of existing structures
• Solid knowledge of mechanics, kinematics, thermodynamics, and materials science
• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD 2D, Revit, and Navisworks
• Intermediate English proficiency
• Availability to travel
• Must reside in Sahagún

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Pulp & Paper industrial projects
• Proficiency in 3D software such as E3D
