Mechanical Production Engineer

Responsibilities

• Drive the reliability, performance, and continuous improvement of mechanical assets at the Leven packaging site
• Collaborate with operations, CAPEX, and maintenance groups to elevate site performance and unlock improvements
• Plan and review mandatory and requested maintenance tasks to ensure minimal operational disruption
• Create, implement, and refine maintenance programs to optimize equipment utilization
• Respond to plant breakdowns with a solutions-focused attitude to minimize downtime
• Use SAP to report maintenance outcomes and contribute to site-wide knowledge sharing
• Uphold the highest standards of health, safety, and quality in all engineering activities

Requirements

• Time-served mechanical engineer with strong technical and analytical skills
• HNC-level engineering qualification or equivalent professional experience
• Proven understanding of reliability maintenance techniques and data analysis
• Proficiency in SAP, Excel, and other business applications
• Strong knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and environmental risk principles
• Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing or production environment
