Mechanical Product Design Engineer I

Responsibilities

• Use computer-aided engineering (CAE) to solve complex vehicle design problems using finite element analysis (FEA), multi-body simulation (MBS), and fatigue analysis
• Design and develop mechanical products, components, or systems involving movement
• Collaborate with marketing and industrial design teams to meet technical, functional, and manufacturing requirements
• Support the design, testing, modification, fabrication, and assembly of prototype mechanical products and assemblies
• Assist in designing product-specific manufacturing production processes and equipment

Requirements

• BSME or BSMET degree
• 0-2 years of relevant engineering experience
• Fundamental understanding of mechanical engineering principles, theories, and practices
• Knowledge of CAE, FEA, and MBS tools
• Ability to work within standardized procedures to meet objectives and deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Working experience with 3D design software
• Hands-on practical application of engineering skills
• Experience in technical writing
• A passion for the automotive industry
