Mechanical Process Technician

Responsibilities

• Monitor and troubleshoot manufacturing process performance for efficiency, quality, and safety
• Perform routine programming of CNC, PLC, Robotics, and Automation equipment
• Create mechanical assembly fixtures using CAD software
• Lead assembly, testing, and qualification of computer stitch pallets
• Conduct in-process quality tests and design experiments to validate process performance
• Assemble and build new or modified equipment according to drawings
• Prepare documentation and instructional materials for operator training
• Liaise with third-party vendors for equipment builds, installation, and repairs
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives for safety, quality, and efficiency

Requirements

• Five to seven years of related experience or training
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or other mechanical CAD software
• Experience with PLC or C++ programming
• Mandatory working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing
