Mechanical Principal Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead customer escalations and technical resolution for AI platform Direct Liquid Cooling (DLC) systems
• Troubleshoot and optimize liquid cooling infrastructure including cold plates, manifolds, and CDUs
• Drive reliability through root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)
• Support new product introductions (NPI) and high-volume manufacturing ramps
• Provide technical leadership and communicate findings to customers and executives

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
• 10+ years of experience in mechanical and thermal engineering
• Deep expertise in Direct Liquid Cooling (DLC), fluid mechanics, and heat transfer
• Strong understanding of AI/HPC platforms and data center cooling infrastructure
• Proven track record in failure analysis and reliability engineering
• Proficiency with CAD tools such as Creo, SolidWorks, or NX
• Willingness to travel for customer and factory support

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with coolant chemistry, corrosion control, and filtration
• Knowledge of ASHRAE and OCP liquid cooling standards
• Experience with CFD/FEA modeling and laboratory validation
• Background in Six Sigma or Lean methodologies (Black Belt preferred)
