Mechanical Principal Engineer

About the Company

Cornerstone Energy Services, Inc. specializes in engineering, survey, and land solutions for the energy infrastructure sector. We collaborate closely with developers and operators of oil and gas pipelines and electric transmission systems, supporting both extensive linear projects and site-specific developments.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering related activities on one or more projects
• Coordinate assigned activities with other job families
• Manage the development and implementation of family related goals, objectives, and policies
• Work with Human Resources to hire new engineering talent and conduct performance reviews
• Select, train, motivate, and evaluate assigned personnel
• Oversee and participate in the development and administration of the department budget
• Participate in business development programs and strengthen existing client relationships
• Ensure engineering team follows Company standards, procedures, and quality tools
• Provide technical assistance to city, county, and district officials regarding laws and regulations
• Direct and supervise other engineers' activities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
• Fifteen or more years of progressive engineering experience
• Meaningful operations or construction experience
• Ability to travel up to 50%
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable DMV record

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree or PhD in mechanical engineering
• Substantial professional development
