Mechanical Plant Designer

Responsibilities

• Develop mechanical designs for machines and interconnection works, including thermal skids.
• Create detailed CAD drawings for containerized solutions, pre-assembled skids, and local client layouts.
• Design plant layouts and manage bills of materials (BOM).
• Evaluate sites and study interconnections between AB plants and client utilities (BOP).
• Develop piping interface paths, including supports, foundations, and pipe racks.
• Coordinate with installation teams to draft site activity schedules and provide technical assistance during installation.
• Interface with subcontractors and collaborate with other Group departments to ensure integrated design.

Requirements

• Technical diploma in a relevant field.
• Technical-practical experience in plant design.
• Proficiency in Inventor, AutoCAD 2D, and the Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to analyze technical documents such as P&IDs and layouts.
• Basic knowledge of the English language.
• Willingness to alternate between office work and field visits/site inspections at client locations.
• Strong problem-solving skills, precision, and communication abilities.
