Mechanical or Electrical Works Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Participate in the supervision of repair work for GTA groups (#1 and #4) and auxiliary services
• Supervise plant work, electrical equipment, controls, mechanical, and turbine-generator groups
• Adopt project requirements including environmental, quality, and safety technicalities
• Verify the quality and compliance of plans and specifications against current standards
• Comment on contractor quality plans and ensure application of technical, safety, and environmental requirements
• Draft and process reports regarding work progress, procurement, labor, materials, and technical defects
• Manage and coordinate site health and safety (SST)
• Ensure no non-conformities or deficiencies hinder commissioning

Requirements

• DEC in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or equivalent experience/training
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience
• Proficiency with MS Office software
• Fluency in spoken and written French
• Experience working with contractors on large-scale projects
• Valid driver's license and vehicle (Class 5)
• Valid ASP construction card

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of MCT
• CDST-Centrale, working at heights, and confined space training
