Mechanical Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine mechanical maintenance and repairs on plant machinery and equipment
• Diagnose mechanical failures and perform necessary repairs to minimize downtime
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks according to established schedules and procedures
• Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize equipment performance and longevity
• Maintain clear and accurate records of all maintenance work performed
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards in all maintenance activities
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency

Requirements

• Technical diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience as a Mechanical Maintenance Technician in an industrial setting
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems and maintenance best practices
• Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical equipment
• Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems is a plus
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
