Mechanical Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Execute product changeovers and machine adjustments to maintain operational efficiency
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance tasks on production machinery
• Conduct troubleshooting and repairs to identify and resolve equipment failures quickly
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure continuous production operations
• Propose and implement solutions to minimize or eliminate process constraints
• Participate in continuous improvement activities and cross-functional teams to enhance productivity
• Plan and manage required resources, such as parts and staff, to minimize machine downtime
• Comply with all health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies

Requirements

• Technical school or Technical Institute Degree in a Mechanical discipline
• Certified Maintenance Mechanical Technician license
• Minimum of 2 years of industrial maintenance experience
• Proficiency in English (both written and verbal)
• Literacy in MS Office and Windchill
• Ability to work in shifts

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic automation systems (pneumatic, hydraulics, etc.)
• Experience in machine assembly, installation, and commissioning
• Experience operating machine tools such as lathe, milling, or surface grinding machines
• Familiarity with maintenance monitoring software like COSWIN
