Mechanical Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Execute product changeovers and machine adjustments to maintain production flexibility and efficiency
• Perform basic preventive and corrective maintenance tasks on machinery to ensure quality and volume
• Conduct troubleshooting and repair of downed equipment to identify and resolve root causes of failure
• Cooperate with other departments to ensure continuous and effective operation of production equipment
• Analyze process constraints and propose solutions to minimize or eliminate production bottlenecks
• Initiate continuous improvement activities and participate in cross-functional teams to enhance productivity
• Plan required resources, including parts and maintenance staff, to restore machine functionality quickly
• Comply with all health, safety, and environmental rules in accordance with company policy

Requirements

• Technical school or Technical Institute Degree in a Mechanical discipline
• Certified with a minimum Maintenance Mechanical license (Technical)
• 2 years of working experience in a similar position, preferably in an industrial field
• Adequate knowledge of the English language (both written and verbal)
• PC literacy, including MS Office and Windchill
• Ability to work in shifts

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of automation systems such as pneumatics and hydraulics
• Prior experience in machine assembly, installation, and commissioning
• Experience operating machine tools like lathe, milling, or surface grinding machines
• Knowledge of maintenance monitoring software such as COSWIN
