Mechanical Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical maintenance on machines and tools used in aluminum packaging production
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical faults and equipment issues
• Carry out repairs and maintenance on production lines
• Participate in scheduled and preventive maintenance shutdowns
• Assist in the installation of new machinery and equipment

Requirements

• Vocational or secondary school education in mechanical engineering
• Strong manual dexterity and technical thinking skills
• Ability to work effectively within a team
• Willingness to work in a continuous operation (12-hour shifts, short/long week rotation)
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is an advantage
• Basic ability to operate a lathe, milling machine, or perform welding is an advantage
• Basic ability to read technical drawings is an advantage
