Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Execute preventive maintenance programs and develop plans for both preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Coordinate equipment downtime needs with the Classification department to ensure maintenance is performed with quality and on schedule.
• Conduct failure analysis to determine root causes and implement short- and medium-term actions to increase equipment lifespan.
• Respond to urgent or emergency requests from production areas.
• Continuously improve maintenance routines and explore new equipment, methods, and tools to optimize processes.
• Supervise contractors to ensure quality and timely delivery of maintenance work.
• Control the maintenance budget for crushing equipment.
• Manage and maintain optimal stock levels of materials and spare parts in the warehouse.

Requirements

• Engineering degree in Mining, Mechanical, Electromechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
• Availability to work rotating shifts.
• Proven knowledge of mining equipment.
• Technical expertise in belts, screens, horizontal sludge pumps, vertical transfer pumps, pulp conditioners, and flotation cells.
• Experience in human capital management.
• Expertise in root cause analysis and high-power systems.
• Proficiency in specialized software for planning and controlling preventive and corrective maintenance.
