Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Lead the plant mechanical team, including Shift Mechanical Engineers, Toolroom, Utility, and Workshop teams, to ensure smooth operation of high-speed can making lines.
• Drive the Preventive Maintenance program (daily, monthly, and periodical) and track monthly compliance.
• Plan and schedule daily maintenance activities, shutdowns, and spare parts procurement.
• Manage maintenance costs within the agreed budget and implement initiatives to reduce expenses.
• Lead process improvement using Lean tools such as fishbone and why-why analysis to resolve chronic equipment issues.
• Support the engineering manager in preparing budgets for capital projects and executing plant projects from start to completion.
• Develop and implement actions to reduce energy consumption and improve operational efficiency.
• Provide training and support to new and existing employees on engineering functions and processes.

Requirements

• 7+ years of relevant maintenance experience in high-speed manufacturing environments.
• Proven experience with mechanical power presses, hydraulic equipment, printing presses, and gas-fired ovens/boilers.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD - Mechanical.
• Experience implementing Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) in a process industry.
• Strong understanding of modern lean manufacturing techniques, including SMED, Kaizen, 5S, and Six Sigma.
• Excellent problem-solving, planning, and coordination skills.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
