Mechanical Maintenance Specialist Technician IV

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical maintenance activities, including reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and using measuring instruments.
• Manage maintenance orders within the SAP system, including creating, appropriating hours, and closing orders.
• Execute material reservations and maintenance order planning via SAP.
• Support root cause analysis for equipment failures and conduct failure analysis to develop action and contingency plans.
• Commission the assembly and installation of large-scale mechanical equipment.
• Prepare technical reports, field surveys, sketches, and technical specifications for materials and repair services.
• Oversee activities performed by contracted companies to ensure compliance.
• Identify and request revisions for maintenance plans, equipment lists (assets), and spare parts lists in SAP.
• Follow and promote safety, environmental, occupational health, and compliance standards.
• Contribute to 5S methodology practices (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) in the workplace.
• Monitor welding activities, including reading welding execution and inspection instructions (IEIS) and welding procedure specifications (EPS).

Requirements

• Completed technical degree in mechanics or a related field.
• Active CFT registration.
• Proven experience in mechanical maintenance activities.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and welding specifications.
• Proficiency in using various measuring instruments.
• Availability to work in a shift rotation system.
