Mechanical Maintenance Operations Technician

Responsibilities

• Ensure the availability and operational continuity of critical mechanical equipment in the cement plant.
• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance on mills, kilns, conveyor belts, crushers, and hydraulic systems.
• Respond to mechanical emergencies and troubleshoot equipment failures to identify root causes.
• Interpret hydraulic diagrams, technical blueprints, and parts lists.
• Coordinate operational personnel and contractors during maintenance activities and plant shutdowns.
• Adhere to strict industrial safety standards, including LOTO, AST, and work permit protocols.
• Participate in operational improvements and equipment optimization projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic, Industrial, or Maintenance Engineering.
• 2 to 3 years of industrial mechanical maintenance experience in heavy industries (cement, mining, manufacturing, metallurgy, or automotive).
• Proven experience in personnel management.
• Intermediate English proficiency.
• Must have a personal vehicle.

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical knowledge in hydraulic systems, including component repair and pressure/flow calculations.
• Experience with cutting and welding techniques.
