Mechanical Maintenance Intern

Responsibilities

• Monitor, analyze, and maintain mechanical assets to ensure maximum uptime, reliability, and safety
• Manage documentation updates and control, including P&ID updates
• Support procurement management and organization within the Alexandria area
• Assist with CMMS system tasks and MAXIMO asset data quality upgrades
• Develop equipment spare parts databases and review inventory (coding, stock levels, and monitoring)
• Support the development of asset control systems for mechanical equipment
• Collaborate with teams on running projects and planned Turnarounds (TAR)

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Proficiency in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Excel/Google Sheets)
• Fluent English communication skills
• Strong analytical skills and a systematic approach to technical troubleshooting
• Enthusiastic interest in mechanical systems, rotary equipment, and industrial assets

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience or a strong interest in using AI tools for task efficiency, reporting, and technical research
