Mechanical Machining Methods Engineer

Responsibilities

• Establish industrialization schedules for projects in coordination with internal teams
• Design, develop, and implement tools, production means, and control methods for new products
• Analyze needs, estimate investments, and defend budget files to management
• Collaborate with the Technical Center to ensure product feasibility and manage modifications
• Pilot continuous improvement actions for machining processes regarding cost, quality, and performance
• Define technical specifications for industrial equipment and manage supplier relationships
• Provide technical assistance to production sites during startup, optimization, and ramp-up phases

Requirements

• Master's degree (Bac+5) in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in machining methods engineering
• Proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks) and CAM (Hypermill) software
• Strong knowledge of Siemens and Fanuc CNC controls
• Experience with quality tools including AMDEC (FMEA) and capability studies
• Ability to conduct techno-economic studies and detailed cost analysis
