About the role

Responsibilities

  • Install, assemble, fabricate, maintain, and repair mechanical piping systems and hydraulic components
  • Follow established safety procedures according to OSHA and company standards
  • Use hand and power tools for measuring, cutting, threading, and joining pipes, valves, and fittings
  • Read and interpret blueprints for conveyor systems, material handling, and automation
  • Operate mobile equipment including forklifts, vertical lifts, and cranes
  • Set up and operate CNC machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders
  • Verify product quality and dimensions using measuring instruments like calipers and micrometers

Requirements

  • At least six years of related experience in a mechanical trade (Pipefitter) or a U.S. Department of Labor Certificate of Completion in a mechanical trade
  • Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints
  • Experience with various hand and power tools
  • Ability to operate mobile equipment and determine rigging requirements
  • Ability to lift or carry materials weighing up to 50 lbs
  • Must be at least 18 years of age and eligible to work in the United States
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including days, afternoons, nights, weekends, and overtime

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with planned maintenance systems and predictive technologies
  • Experience with industrial robotics, automation, and conveyance systems
