Mechanical Integration Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design the global train architecture considering client and regulatory requirements
• Perform mechanical integration of interior train parts on 3D models (seats, partitions, equipment, etc.)
• Define interfaces between various subsystems (mechanical, electrical, interior, signaling, TCMS, etc.)
• Lead design studies and coordinate engineering activities
• Ensure optimal equipment integration within the vehicle
• Produce and validate technical project deliverables
• Identify technical risks and propose suitable solutions
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
• Use CATIA V5 and/or V6 for modeling, assembly, and technical constraint validation
• Establish bill of materials and technical documents for industrialization and purchasing teams

Requirements

• Engineering degree or Master's degree (Bac+5) in mechanical or systems engineering
• Proven experience in complex product design or systems engineering
• Proficiency in CATIA V5/V6 (3D modeling, assembly, drafting)
• Knowledge of electrical design and systems integration
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and railway-specific materials
• Knowledge of railway sector standards and norms (EN, UIC, etc.)
• Professional proficiency in English (written and oral)
