About the role
Responsibilities
- Design the global train architecture considering client and regulatory requirements
- Perform mechanical integration of interior train parts on 3D models (seats, partitions, equipment, etc.)
- Define interfaces between various subsystems (mechanical, electrical, interior, signaling, TCMS, etc.)
- Lead design studies and coordinate engineering activities
- Ensure optimal equipment integration within the vehicle
- Produce and validate technical project deliverables
- Identify technical risks and propose suitable solutions
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
- Use CATIA V5 and/or V6 for modeling, assembly, and technical constraint validation
- Establish bill of materials and technical documents for industrialization and purchasing teams
Requirements
- Engineering degree or Master's degree (Bac+5) in mechanical or systems engineering
- Proven experience in complex product design or systems engineering
- Proficiency in CATIA V5/V6 (3D modeling, assembly, drafting)
- Knowledge of electrical design and systems integration
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and railway-specific materials
- Knowledge of railway sector standards and norms (EN, UIC, etc.)
- Professional proficiency in English (written and oral)
