Mechanical Integration and Assembly Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical integration and assembly of aerospace systems
• Support Assembly, Integration & Test (AIT) activities
• Follow engineering drawings, manuals, and technical instructions accurately
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure correct component installation
• Report and document assembly progress and technical issues

Requirements

• Competence in mechanical assembly and integration techniques
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions
• Experience working in multi-disciplinary engineering teams
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent military experience
• Proven experience in mechanical integration or assembly, ideally in aerospace or high-precision manufacturing
• Willingness to work across AM/PM shifts on-site full time

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with AIT processes and aerospace standards
• Experience in component installation, jigs, or tooling
• Knowledge of inspection and quality procedures
