Mechanical Installation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install BD Rowa robotic pharmacy automation systems and conveyor solutions
• Support equipment deliveries and safely unload installation materials
• Work closely with fellow installation engineers to deliver projects safely and efficiently
• Communicate professionally with customers and on-site contractors
• Complete accurate installation records, progress updates, and photographic documentation
• Follow risk assessments, method statements, and all health and safety procedures
• Coordinate successful project handovers with commissioning engineers
• Travel extensively throughout the UK, Ireland, and Europe

Requirements

• Mechanical qualification (apprenticeship, City & Guilds, BTEC, or equivalent)
• Experience installing machinery, industrial equipment, or automation systems
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment
• Ability to work in physically demanding environments (manual handling, working at height, confined spaces)
• Full, clean UK driving licence

Preferred Qualifications

• IPAF certification
• CSCS certification
