Mechanical Inspector

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed inspections of mechanical equipment, welds, and assemblies to verify compliance with specifications and industry standards
• Review technical documents, drawings, and inspection plans
• Perform non-destructive testing (NDT) coordination and review results
• Document and report inspection findings, discrepancies, and recommendations
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and quality teams to address non-conformance issues
• Ensure all inspection activities comply with client and company policies
• Maintain accurate and timely inspection records and reports

Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Mechanical Inspector, preferably within the Utility or Energy sector
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and documents
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Willingness to work on-site in Al Jubail, Saudi Arabia

Preferred Qualifications

• API 510 certification
• API 570 certification
• AWS-CWI certification
• CSWIP certification
