Mechanical Inspector

Responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections of HVAC systems to ensure proper installation and compliance
• Review drawings, material submittals, and method statements against project specifications
• Attend and respond to Inspection Requests (IRs) and verify completed works
• Identify defects and non-conformities, issuing reports such as Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs)
• Coordinate effectively with engineers, contractors, and project managers
• Maintain accurate site records, inspection reports, and progress documentation
• Ensure all works comply with safety standards, project specifications, and UAE authority regulations
• Implement and follow company QHSE policies and local regulatory guidelines

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering
• Minimum 10 years of experience in construction supervision
• Proven experience working within consultancy environments
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC installation
• Proficiency with CAD standards and 3D working knowledge
• Demonstrated competence in quality management (QA) and construction techniques
