About the role
Responsibilities
- Execute and supervise mechanical maintenance and construction activities, including piping installation and static equipment maintenance.
- Coordinate manpower, tools, equipment, and materials required for daily work execution.
- Ensure work permits are obtained and all permit conditions are fully complied with using PTW systems.
- Conduct toolbox talks and ensure workforce adherence to site safety requirements and ADNOC standards.
- Monitor activities involving pumps, compressors, valves, rotating equipment, flange management, and hydrotesting.
- Review work packs, drawings, method statements, and risk assessments before commencing work.
- Verify work quality and compliance with project specifications and client standards.
- Prepare daily progress reports and coordinate with Operations, Maintenance, QA/QC, and HSE teams.
Requirements
- Diploma or Technical Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3–4 years of experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refinery, or EPC projects.
- Mandatory ADNOC approval and an existing ADNOC account.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical maintenance and construction (piping, static/rotating equipment, and structures).
- Familiarity with Permit to Work (PTW) systems and isolation procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and P&IDs.
- Strong communication, team coordination, and report writing skills.

- Experience working in live operating plants.
