Mechanical Fitter

Responsibilities

• Carry out valve maintenance, repair, overhaul and certification activities safely and efficiently
• Provide mechanical and technical support to colleagues, engineers and clients
• Work in line with SGS procedures, risk assessments and industry standards
• Complete job documentation and certification accurately and on time
• Support team and departmental performance through safe working behaviours

Requirements

• Full Drivers License for use in the UK
• Mechanical Fitting background
• Fork Lift Truck License

Preferred Qualifications

• Apprentice trained or equivalent with at least 3 years in mechanical engineering
• NVQ Level 2
• Safety Passport
• Knowledge of Valve certification and overhaul requirements
