Mechanical Fitter

Responsibilities

• Undertake disassembly, cleaning, and reassembly of subsea equipment to required standards
• Use power tools appropriately for disassembly and assembly tasks
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on all tools and equipment
• Assist with pressure testing and fabrication tasks including grinding, fit up, and assembly
• Carry out paint touch-ups on finished and assembled parts
• Perform daily checks on lifting equipment to ensure calibration and safety
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and ensure compliance with HSE and Quality policies
• Assist in training other operational personnel as required

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 10 years of experience in the oilfield industry
• At least 5 years of experience in a workshop environment
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Fluency in written and spoken English
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
