About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform complex customer support activities on gas compression and rotating equipment in customer plants and field locations
- Lead teams performing Daily Maintenance (DM), Major Maintenance (MM), Overhaul, and Preventive Maintenance (PM)
- Act as a subject matter expert to mentor and train technicians on technical and soft skills
- Coordinate and prioritize issue resolution for service technicians to minimize downtime and maximize first-time fix rates
- Provide technical support to customers and sales teams regarding system installations, repairs, and preventative maintenance
- Communicate technical issues and findings to customers and field service managers in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate electronic documentation of all findings, measurements, and detailed reports
- Model and enforce established health, safety, and environmental (HSE) procedures
Requirements
- Expert diagnostic, troubleshooting, investigation, maintenance, and repair skills on OEM compression/rotating equipment and drivers
- Proven team leadership and coordination experience
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking) for technical manuals and work orders
- Proficiency with MS Office and general computer applications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Valid driver's license and a good driving record
