Mechanical Field Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Provide field support and supervise subcontractor operations on-site
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate work groups to ensure project milestones are met
• Assist in the interpretation of engineering drawings and specifications for field crews
• Perform material and quantity takeoffs and conduct quantity calculations
• Participate in jobsite safety reviews, toolbox meetings, and safety training
• Assist in the preparation of work plans, work packages, and change orders
• Support field surveying, work layout, and the compilation of as-built data
• Assist with project reporting, schedule maintenance, and cost data entry

Requirements

• 3-5+ years of construction field experience with a specific focus on mechanical works
• Undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering, construction management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Proven ability to read, analyze, and identify discrepancies in engineering plans and contract documents
• Ability to travel and relocate to various project sites across Western Canada and beyond
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in diverse outdoor climates and environments
