Mechanical Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a growing team of talented mechanical engineers
• Act as an active contributor to product development and design tradeoffs
• Drive the team to hit program milestones and influence product strategy
• Hire top-tier engineering talent and help them reach their highest potential
• Scope mechanical engineering work to focus on critical customer success
• Improve the results and outputs of the mechanical engineering function holistically

Requirements

• Expert in the design and production of complex mechanical systems
• Proven experience shipping multiple products from concept through production
• Ability to communicate fluidly across various technical domains
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to tie technical work to customer value
• Comfortable making decisions with incomplete information and navigating unfamiliar territory
