Mechanical Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Act as an active contributor in product development
• Help the team navigate design tradeoffs and ship high-quality products
• Scope mechanical engineering work to focus on critical customer success
• Drive the team to hit program milestones and influence product strategy
• Hire and develop talented mechanical engineers
• Improve the results and outputs of the mechanical engineering function
• Influence how Hardware Engineering functions holistically

Requirements

• Expert in the design and production of complex mechanical systems
• Proven track record of shipping multiple products from concept through production
• Ability to communicate fluidly across technical domains
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to tie technical work to customer value
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions with incomplete information
