Responsibilities

• Spend most of your time being an active contributor in product development
• Help the team navigate design tradeoffs and ship the industry’s best products
• Help scope mechanical engineering work to a finely focused edge
• Drive the team to hit program milestones and provide input to program schedules
• Hire the best engineers and help them reach their highest potential
• Influence product strategy and how Hardware Engineering functions holistically

Requirements

• Expert in the design and production of complex mechanical systems
• Proven track record of shipping multiple products from concept through production
• Ability to communicate fluidly across technical domains
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to tie technical work to customer value
• Experience leading and developing engineering teams
