Mechanical Engineering Design Intern

Responsibilities

• Assist design technicians in developing 3D models, 2D drawings, and associated part lists
• Examine plans and part lists to ensure accuracy according to client specifications and design standards
• Contribute to documentation management, meeting organization, and other administrative team tasks
• Perform documentary research to support ongoing engineering projects
• Assist with project logistical coordination
• Participate in continuous improvement of engineering tools, methods, and processes

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in 2nd or 3rd year of a Mechanical Engineering program
• Completed or currently completing coursework in statics, dynamics, materials, strength of materials, and fluid mechanics
• Strong mechanical mindset with skills in 3D conceptualization and perception
• Ability to work under pressure with changing priorities
• Bilingualism (English and French)
• Legal status to work in Canada
