Mechanical Engineering Design Intern

Responsibilities

• Assist design engineers in developing 3D models, 2D drawings, and associated parts lists
• Review drawings and parts lists for accuracy against customer specifications and design standards
• Conduct documentary research to support ongoing hydroelectric projects
• Contribute to documentation management, meeting organization, and administrative tasks
• Assist with logistical coordination and participate in the continuous improvement of engineering tools and processes

Requirements

• Enrolled in 2nd or 3rd year of Mechanical Engineering studies
• Completed university courses in statics and dynamics, materials and strength of materials, and fluid mechanics
• Strong mechanical aptitude, including 3D conceptualization and knowledge of mechanical connections
• Bilingual communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities under pressure
