Mechanical Engineering Co-op/Internship

Responsibilities

• Update and document Computer-Aided Design (CAD) drawings of existing infrastructure
• Analyze and design sanitation, HVAC, and building pressure systems
• Develop short and long-term solutions for facility infrastructure problems
• Design modifications for existing plant infrastructure
• Update mechanical engineering specifications and standards
• Review mechanical drawings and verify mechanical construction
• Support SRP, CESS, Hot Oil Boiler, and Environmental Equipment
• Assist with construction projects and construction verification
• Support all safety-related items and troubleshooting reports

Requirements

• Enrollment in a bachelor's or master's degree program in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Sophomore status (by credit hour) or above
• Minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA (transcript required)
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
• Availability for a minimum of 10 weeks at 40 hours per week
• Valid U.S. Driver's License and ability to provide own transportation
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of AutoCAD or CATIA
• Completion of manufacturing-related coursework
