Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Assist with collecting, compiling, and analyzing data from work sites, blueprints, and technical drawings for project development.
• Perform basic professional mechanical engineering work, including research and inspections of site conditions and mechanical systems.
• Provide entry-level technical assistance on design requirements, load calculations, and operating strategies.
• Generate accurate documentation and specifications using electronic systems, drawings, and field logs.
• Comply with all safety guidelines, site-specific procedures, and company codes of conduct.
• Collaborate with internal multidisciplinary engineering teams and external design partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• 0 to 1 years of relevant post-education experience.
• Proficiency with discipline-specific design software such as AutoCAD or CAM.
• Strong analytical, research, and technical writing skills.
• Ability to work independently under general supervision and as part of a collaborative team.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to project locations as required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification.
• Prior internship experience related to mechanical engineering or the specific discipline.
• Active participation in local professional practice organizations.
