About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical design and development for new thermal products through all NPDI gate phases
- Analyze and resolve complex technical challenges, optimizing designs for manufacturability, cost, and quality
- Drive prototype builds, pilot runs, and testing for thermal systems including component selection and sizing
- Work with multidisciplinary teams across regions, partnering with Manufacturing, Procurement, Logistics, and Controls Engineering
- Create and review critical documentation including CAD drawings, FMEA/DFA/DFM/DFX specs, and Bills of Material
- Partner with Engineering Leadership to ensure product development meets strategic business objectives
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in New Product Development for thermal/HVAC products
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Advanced CAD skills, preferably Creo
- Expertise in thermal systems including component selection, sizing, and system-level design
- Strong understanding of Electrical, Controls, and Hydraulic systems
- Knowledge of safety standards such as UL and CE
- Excellent English communication skills
