Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end mechanical design and development for new thermal products through all NPDI gate phases
• Analyze and resolve complex technical challenges, optimizing designs for manufacturability, cost, and quality
• Drive prototype builds, pilot runs, and testing for thermal systems including component selection and sizing
• Work with multidisciplinary teams across regions, partnering with Manufacturing, Procurement, Logistics, and Controls Engineering
• Create and review critical documentation including CAD drawings, FMEA/DFA/DFM/DFX specs, and Bills of Material
• Partner with Engineering Leadership to ensure product development meets strategic business objectives

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in New Product Development for thermal/HVAC products
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Advanced CAD skills, preferably Creo
• Expertise in thermal systems including component selection, sizing, and system-level design
• Strong understanding of Electrical, Controls, and Hydraulic systems
• Knowledge of safety standards such as UL and CE
• Excellent English communication skills
