Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test mechanical components and systems for automotive applications
• Conduct feasibility studies, stress analysis, and thermal analysis to optimize designs
• Create detailed 3D CAD models and 2D engineering drawings using industry-standard software
• Participate in design reviews, FMEAs, and DFM/DFA activities to mitigate risks
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical and manufacturing engineers
• Develop and execute test plans, analyze data, and provide detailed validation reports
• Investigate and troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement corrective actions
• Prepare technical documentation including specifications and test procedures

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• 2-5 years of experience in mechanical design and development, preferably in the automotive industry
• Strong proficiency in 3D CAD software such as CATIA, SolidWorks, or Creo
• Solid understanding of statics, dynamics, mechanics of materials, thermodynamics, and fluid mechanics
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong analytical mindset
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with FEA (Finite Element Analysis) software and techniques
• Knowledge of automotive standards and regulations such as ISO/TS 16949 or IATF 16949
